In a sociological sense, a generation refers to a group of people with the same or similar experiences in their formative years informs the attitudes toward life and the choices they make based on those attitudes. Thus, five years (biologically speaking) is not a generation for humans, but is several generations for mosquitoes Biologists refer to a generation as the time from birth (or hatch) to reproductive age. The term 'generation' is used primarily in two similar but different ways.'bred and broken' in Ohio, and as an adult in California. I can only write about my experiences and understanding a citizen of the U.S.To begin, please don't feel attacked, my reply is not intended to do so except in one possible way (you'll no doubt recognize it). And my spouse is a Gen Xer with early Boomer parents, and all four younger siblings are Millennials. My childhood BFF, meanwhile, started having babies at 17, so all of her kids are Millennials. I'm a solid Gen Xer (1971) with one Silent and one early Boomer parent, and my son is an Alpha (as will be the daughter we're having next year.). There's the "Jones" cohort, which is roughly late 50s to early 60s, and Xennials, which are late 70s to early 80s. There is some overlap at the edges of these groups, of course. Previous to Boomers were the GI/Greatest and Silent generations. The Baby Boom generation is a defined thing: The surge in births after WWII up through the early '60s. And to finish up, why do you insist on arguing when they themselves literally admitted they should've been more clear. I just told him that the way he stated his final sentence made it sound as if he actually believed it as there were no implications in the sentence itself and there were no conjunctions neatly connecting the sentences in a way that it is clear that this is not his actual opinion even though he clearly stated he doesn't believe it in the first sentence, I never said he was a Christian. I know it doesn't warrant a mocking response, which is why I never mocked him. And also you started your framing with "But let's say that you're right" which clearly shows that you're framing, he did nothing of the sort and also you then try to think what if I was right which is you framing again, yet he was saying it as if he was Christian even though the original comment was clearly from someone who doesn't believe in Christianity so he was not framing into the mindset of the original reply. I never said that he actually believes it, he clearly stated he was an atheist beforehand yet in his final sentence he just says it as if it is true with no other implications. TV shows, youtube skits, the like, anything that was scripted isn't welcome, because it isn't genuine."This dummy said that you have to swear on a Bible" is different than completely insulting someone's political views. People are wrong in politics all the time, so post those on this sub.
